What to Do in Wisconsin Dells on a Last-Minute Summer Escape

Researching what to do before you arrive means you can spend more time creating memories and less time figuring out where to head next. To help you start your checklist, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite activities and attractions.
A Checklist of 5 Wisconsin Dells Things to Do in Summer
- Soak in the last bit of summer sun by spending the day at our outdoor waterpark. Feel the thrill of eighty-foot drops on one of the waterslides or ride the waves at the wave pool. There are also several attractions ideal for younger kids, like the kiddie river and splash pad.
- Take in stunning views of sandstone rock formations and a canyon at Dells Zipline Adventures. Located on our resort grounds, the park consists of an 18-zipline course and an adventure park with four courses of varying difficulty.
- If you’re looking to take a break from the sun, head to Pesos O’Plenty Arcade. Located next to the indoor waterpark, the arcade has numerous arcade games where you can win tickets you can use to pick out prizes.
- Explore the Dells on a tour with the Original Wisconsin Ducks. During your 90-minute outing, the unique vehicle will take you on both land and “sea” as you explore scenic parts of the Dells.
Disconnect for a little while and spend a day outdoors at Mirror Lake State Park. Only about a 20-minute drive from our resort, there are numerous things to do when exploring this Wisconsin state park, including swimming, hiking, and biking.
